It has occurred to me that while searching through all the various groups I am a member of looking for info on products to use or posting request for info in this area is one way to do things, it would be easier if there was a place online for all to share this same kind of info on. Finally tried the Nutella. This stuff is GOOD! Hazelnuts cocoa and milk in a peanut butter type of spread. This would be great between layers of a white cake!

Dawn Power wash
I'm not the one doing dishes around here but I normally use Dawn to wash up after honey do's. We bought some of the power wash since pots and pans soaking on the counter is not IMHO a good idea. Our in house chief bottle washer says he can't speak on the 5 minute soak it says on the bottle but he could vouch for the fact that what used to take over night to soak now comes out really nicely in 30 minutes. If he ever remembers to try the 5 minute soak I'll keep you posted.
On cleaning hands OH WOW this stuff is GOOD! Beats any thing I ever saw or tried including that orange stuff in the flat canister they sell at automotive houses, lava, scouring powders such as comet, metal scrubbers, plastic scrubbers, abrasive pads. The ONLY thing it did not work on was dried paint on my hands.

Brita water bottle
I originally decided to buy one of these to help a gal pal out who is on hard times. She was out of bottled water and I was looking at the pitchers when I saw the individual bottles. They came in 2 packs so I decided to buy one for each of us since in the long run, even after replacing filters, it is a LOT cheaper then buying bottled water. I'm glad I did, The only thing is YOU HAVE to make sure you follow directions and squeeze that first bottle of water out as the charcoal dust is definitely there!
I figure drinking two or three bottles worth a day means the filter should last at least a month to a month and a half. Its easier to pick up several new filters and throw them in the drawer then having to lug bottled water home every month. Once I am living on board it will save a lot of room and make my life easier.
