I,n 2 days (11/5 & 11.6 20011) Oklahoma had 5 or 6 earthquakes all over 2. something on the rector scale. I felt two of them . One the night before last,
Then last night one hit that we all felt. I've felt tremors all the time. Slight tremors happen a lot. This was not just a tremor, It was a full fledged earthquake!!
According to reports it was felt as far away as Wisconsin, Illinois,Kansas, Missouri. Texas and of course Oklahoma.
24 earth quakes in three days in Oklahoma!!!!

Normally I keep my prayer life private, but I want to publically thantk The Creator of The Universe for keeping us safe and our house and possessions unharmed.
At first I thought all that had happened as a result of this was the curtains moved, Turns out the joint inside the chimney came just loose enough to see when I was painting the pipe. Good thing I had not painted it before I never would have noticed it until smoke started coming ut.
As a heads up if your new to earth quakes, and if you have a wood burner or fire place, check your PIPES after an earth quake!!!!
Today started out as not one of the best days. Every time I tried to grab my sander SOMETHING came up.
FINALLY every things calmed down enough to actually get some work done.
I have come to one very serious conclusion. Using an orbital sander for this takes to long!
As much as I hated to spend the cash, I decided to bite the billet and get a belt sander. The Dremel 4000 is just going to have to wait another month. Have not had a chance to use it. By the time it was here it was to late at night to actually let the neighbors have the thrill of sharing its finely tuned electric motor. I bet you can guess wast I'm going to be doing tomorrow?

This house has been remodeled at least once. Pipe were apparently ran inside this room at one time. History of house says it was used as a beauty parlor. Maybe they ran pipes through bed room?

| That thing standing up behind hole is a piece of metal that was covering it. All holes had thin metal sheeting covering holes. I'm betting this made house a lot cooler. Once I put some spray foam in holes this room was noticeable warmer. |

NO photo of i but I finally got the rest of the last living room window stained except for the bottom which I need to clean since it has drops of paint all over it. It was to late to run sander so that waits till morning.
